Open source helped build my career. I learnt how to collaborate with contributors from around the world, ask better questions, and build things that people actually use, and give feedback on. It is also what propelled my professional career from the very beginning.
These days, my contributions sit mostly around observability, developer experience, documentation, and community work. observability and community Contributed across six OpenTelemetry repositories through the End-User and Contributor Experience SIGs, focusing on observability, community development, documentation, and upstream content. observability and Python Contributed to Pydantic's Logfire observability platform through async SQLAlchemy instrumentation and context-propagation SDK work. graphics editor and WebAssembly Contributed to the Rust, Svelte, and WebAssembly-based 2D graphics editor through design discussions, refactors, bug fixes, and new node-graph features.OpenTelemetry

I’m drawn to upstream work: helping projects communicate clearly, turning community feedback into useful changes, and making the software better for the people who use it.
